It’s the New Year

Everyone waits for January 1st for the new year to begin. It is when new promises are made. It is a time when people make changes in their life for the better. It is a hopeful time for a better life. However, on September 15, according to the Jewish calendar, we entered into the New Year, Year 5874, the Year and season of the door. We are in the New Year NOW. Expect the suddenly to happen in your life!

Many will assume that the door described in the year 5874, is the opening of new opportunities, blessings, and breakthroughs. In some respect, that may be true. However, as believers, we understand that Jesus is the door. Jesus declares, “I am the Door. “ (John 10:17), He provides for us and protects us. He is the way out and through all situations.

The significance in understanding the Jesus is the door, reminds us that only those who are accessing Jesus have the ability to walk through the door. Also, Paul speaks about a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries. (1 Corinthians 16:9-10). Remember that doors represent authority, transitions, a threshold. With Jesus being the door residing in you, you will meet opposition, but the opposition is deflatable. You will have great influence and keys (steps, insight, the blueprint) to open and lock doors. While you may be tested, it will not overshadow the “suddenlies” that will breakthrough in your life. Stay the course and walk into your new year with the knowledge that it is YOUR season. Happy New Year.
