If We Only Avail Ourselves to Him
When there is a trusted relationship, each person wants the other to know everything that will keep the other safe and secure. Additionally, there are things shared to make sure the person is not taken by surprise. Our Heavenly Father is like that. Amos 3:7-8 says, Surely, the Lord does nothing unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. The lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord God has spoken! Who can but prophesy?
Just think, if we avail ourselves to the Lord, He will reveal the things that we ask God to show us and the things that we have not even asked to be revealed to us, but prepares us. A new dimension of things that may be unusual, uncommon, unexpected, and even unpredictable happens when you avail yourself to the Lord. To avail yourself is to makes use of: or to take advantage of the times to pray or communicate with God, to read His word, to sit before Him in silence. I know it sounds simple.
